The corporation was established in 1989 upon a resolution of the
Charlotte County Board of County Commissioners and has been
delivering affordable housing opportunities to Charlotte County
residents since November 1994, with implementation of two
current State Housing Initiative Partnership (SHIP) approved
programs.
The corporation currently administers Several programs, Some
assistance utilizing SHIP funds which is a grant to assist them with
funds to either purchase a home or rehabilitate their existing
home.
Recently, the Corporation opened up additional programs to
serve our community. The Charlotte County Homebuyers Club
and The Housing Corporations Consumer Credit Counseling
Services.
